I find each retreat is a very personal and singular process. It may have a totally different meaning for each of us, that’s why I invite you to take this text as a very humble testimonial, without presuming of what it may be for you. I’d like it to be an invitation to dare, to try, to experience, at least once in your life.

So here is my experience.
I have lived 10 days like a nun. Without telephone, without speaking, or eye-contact. Eating at fixed hours and going to bed at 21:00.
Meditating daily 8 -11 hours.
10 days of being with myself.
10 days of looking beyond my masks, roles and beliefs.
10 days of looking for my Self.
A big dive inside.
First training and focusing my attention.
Then looking inside
with the light of awareness.
Observing and staying with what comes from my inner world.
Looking, staying with my shadows
Working at accepting them.
All the things I didn’t have time to look at and though…
are here and conduct my life
as strings conduct the marionette beyond the stage.
Meeting much powerlessness, my anger too.
I’ve seen much strength too.
The power of staying with the unwanted.
The courage of staying what I do not like
and not give in to the temptation of what I like.
Developing equanimity. A safe space between stimuli and reaction.
The joy of embracing my wholeness: black and white and all the shades in between.
Silence is a magic scenery.
Awareness a precious vehicle.
Peace of mind is one necessary step towards this place where the heart can unfold.
Being Human is the most heroic thing I can truly do.
Here and now.
